At the Concert

Engaging. Inspiring. Healing.

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. In other words, Healing Musicians in Need.

Our aim is to help Sweet Relief to help others by sponsoring fundraising efforts and helping to raise awareness for them and other music-related charity organizations such as MusiCares, The Jeremy Wilson Foundation and others.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Man Playing Guitar

The Sweet Relief Music Hour is a monthly, one-hour program that centers around musical performance. The program will include interviews with the artists that are performing, as well as featuring good news reports from artists that have been helped by Sweet Relief in the past.

We are beginning production. Our target date to begin broadcasts is 2023. Our musical guests will include well-known artists, as well as newcomers that deserve a wider audience.

VENUES

The performances will be presented from, in conjunction with, McMenamins, who have offered several of their best performance venues, along with booking management, and accommodations for the SRMH show performers.

The historic Mission Theater in Portland, Oregon will be one of the primary venues where these performances will be captured. The Mission holds roughly 300 people.

The Spanish Ballroom at Elk's Lodge in Tacoma, Washington has a max. capacity of 700, and will also serve as a beautiful venue for the concerts and the show.

LOOK AND TONE

What would Rock & Roll be without the beloved artists and graphic designers who make the concert posters, album covers and T-shirts we all know and love?

The Sweet Relief Music Hour, in conjunction with the musical artists for each show will invite up-and-coming, local, and unique artists, as well as venerable masters of the form to design the posters, commemorative merchandise, overall vibe and set design of each episode. The merchandise will be available for purchase through the Sweet Relief Music Hour website, and remain in the catalog ad infinitum to allow fans and collectors to discover and enjoy the ephemera associated with their new favorite show, for years to come.

OUR HOST

THE TEAM

Steve Agee is hilarious. Also, he is an actor, musician, and an overall great human being who cares about others. Having dedicated his life to the creative process, he has a knack for drawing people out to connect.

We are very glad to have him on as our emcee.

Bingo and Dave will serve as the hosts in our Introduction.  While their charisma could carry the show, rotating hosts could keep the show more diverse and exciting as well as stand to serve the theme of any given show and highlight the good news stories we hope to showcase.
